ArithCalc ("the app") is developed by Emmanuel Wild ("we", "us"). This policy explains how the app handles your information.
ArithCalc does not collect personal data that identifies you. All your calculations and settings stay on your device. We use only anonymous, aggregated analytics and crash reports to improve the app (details below).
We do not collect any personal information. The app has no user accounts, no login, and does not require an internet connection to function.
Your calculations (tapes/documents) and app settings (theme, language, decimals, etc.) are saved locally on your device only, using standard Android storage. This data never leaves your device and is not transmitted to us or any third party. If you uninstall the app, this data is removed.
We do not share, sell, or transmit any data to third parties. The "Share" feature only sends the text you explicitly choose to share, through the Android system share sheet, to the app you pick (e.g. email, messaging). We never see that content.
The app does not request access to your contacts, location, camera, microphone, or files beyond what is needed to share text you choose to share.
The current version does not display ads. If ads are added in the future, we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date first.
The app may use Google Firebase Analytics and Crashlytics to collect anonymous, aggregated usage statistics (for example which screens are opened) and crash reports, so we can fix bugs and improve the app. This data does not include the contents of your calculations. It is processed by Google as our service provider.
As part of this, Firebase Analytics may access the device's Advertising ID to produce aggregated analytics. We use it only for analytics — not for advertising or to build a profile that identifies you. You can reset or delete this identifier at any time in your device settings (Settings → Privacy → Ads), and opt out of ad personalization there.
This website (arithcalc.pages.dev) uses Google Analytics to understand aggregated, anonymous visitor statistics such as page views. Google Analytics may set cookies in your browser. This is separate from the app; the app works fully offline. You can block cookies in your browser settings.
We do not knowingly collect any personal data from anyone, including children.
If we change how the app handles data (for example by adding optional in-app purchases, ads, or cloud features), we will update this policy and the "Last updated" date above.
